Data Rights & Deletion
You control the data HALO holds about your business. This page explains exactly how to exercise each right and how fast we respond.
Request a copy of your data
Export everything we hold about your account
You can request a portable copy of all business information, review data, response history, and AI Receptionist transcripts we have on file.
- Email shermar@halocrm.app with subject line "Data Export Request".
- Include the business name and email on your HALO account.
- We verify your identity (we'll reply from the email on file) and package your data as a downloadable ZIP.
- You receive the export within 7 business days.
Revoke Google API access
Disconnect HALO from your Google Business Profile
You can revoke HALO's OAuth permission at any time — directly through Google, without needing to email us. This stops HALO from accessing any Google data for your account immediately.
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Find HALO in the list of connected apps.
- Click Remove Access.
- Optionally, email us to request deletion of any Google data HALO previously stored — see "Delete my data" below.
Correct inaccurate data
Request a fix
If any information HALO holds about your business is outdated or wrong, email us and we'll correct it.
- Email shermar@halocrm.app with subject line "Data Correction Request".
- Describe what needs to change and what the correct value is.
- We update the record within 3 business days and confirm by email.
Delete my data
Permanently delete your HALO account and all associated data
You can request full deletion at any time. This removes your account, all connected profile data, call recordings, response history, and any backups within 30 days.
- Email shermar@halocrm.app with subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- We confirm the request by replying to the email on file (identity verification).
- Within 7 business days, your account is deactivated and data scheduled for permanent deletion.
- Within 30 calendar days, all data is fully erased from production systems and backups.
Withdraw consent
If you previously consented to specific data processing (e.g., opt-in to marketing emails), you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing shermar@halocrm.app. This does not affect your core service.
Lodge a complaint
If you believe HALO has mishandled your data and we haven't resolved it to your satisfaction, you may lodge a complaint with:
- The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection
- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov
- Your state's consumer protection or data privacy authority (if outside PA)
